Nurturing Excellence: Knott Scholars at Mount de Sales
On Thursday, October 17, Mrs. Anne Wisniewski of the Knott Scholarship Fund met with MDSA's nine Knott Scholar Sailors.
The scholars learned more about the Knott family's impact on Catholic education, including their mission to nurture academic excellence in students from elementary school through college. Our Sailors are active in the Knott Scholar community, organizing service projects and forging connections with fellow Knott Scholars from other high schools.
When sharing details of their life at Mount de Sales, the Sailors noted that the warm welcome experienced as freshmen allowed them to step out of their comfort zone and grow in knowledge, faith, and leadership. One Senior Sailor described how her academic life is truly "clicking" this year and deepening her sense of intellectual wonder.
